Moving is one of the best opportunities to get rid of things you no longer need. Every item you do not pack is one less item to move, unpack, and store. Fancy Dumpster Rentals offers moving dumpsters to Clarkston Heights-Vineland, WA residents who want to declutter before a move or clear packing debris after one.
A container on site during a move makes decisions faster. Broken furniture, worn-out rugs, and forgotten storage items can go straight into the container instead of the moving truck.
Before the move: decluttering
Schedule a container a week or two before moving day, and work through the house room by room. Set aside items for donation or sale, and put the rest in the container. This reduces the volume the movers handle, which can lower moving costs and make packing easier, since you are only wrapping things you actually want.
After the move: packing debris and cleanup
Unpacking creates boxes, packing paper, and foam. A container at your new home can handle this debris, along with anything left behind by previous owners. Cardboard can often be recycled, so ask about keeping it separate and dry if you have a large volume of boxes.
Coordinating the container with your move
Time delivery so the container is available during the heaviest decluttering days, and schedule pickup before closing if you are selling the home. Make sure the container will not block the moving truck. If you are moving out of an apartment, check with the property manager about where a container is allowed.
Moving timeline tips

- Ask about a second container at the new home
Mattresses and some appliances may have special handling rules. Mention them when you book.
